Milltown Marina and River Rock Marina Select EliteMarinas to Support Connected Growth
Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, EliteMarinas will connect marina operations, finance and customer experience across both marinas, reducing manual administration and supporting the expansion of River Rock Marina.
Elite Dynamics is pleased to announce that Milltown Marina & Boatyard and River Rock Marina have selected EliteMarinas, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, to support the next phase of growth across their marina operations.
Owned by the Musqueam Indian Band, with asset management by Musqueam Capital Corporation; Milltown Marina and River Rock Marina are located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Milltown is a full-service marina and boatyard offering wet slips, dry stack storage, transient moorage and a range of marine services.
As the organization prepared for the continued growth of Milltown Marina and the launch of River Rock Marina, its leadership team identified an opportunity to modernize operations and establish a more scalable model across both businesses.
Already using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the team wanted a solution that could bring marina operations, customer management, billing and finance together within the same technology environment.
Today, marina, finance and customer data are managed across multiple applications, creating significant manual work around reconciliation, reporting and day-to-day administration. The business also processes between 800 and 900 card payments each month through manual workflows, adding further administrative overhead.
Following a series of discovery workshops, Milltown Marina and River Rock selected EliteMarinas for its ability to connect marina operations, finance and customer engagement within a platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Both marinas will be able to operate within one connected environment while maintaining the required separation between legal entities, financial records and reporting.
By automating a number of the manual processes identified during discovery, the organization expects to free up between 67 and 118 hours of administrative effort each month, representing an estimated annual efficiency saving of CAD $36,180 to CAD $63,720.
EliteMarinas will also give teams greater visibility across both marina operations and provide a scalable platform to support the continued development of Milltown Marina and the launch and growth of River Rock Marina.
Customers will benefit from the EliteMarinas customer app, providing online access to their accounts and invoices alongside digital payments, self-service bookings and service requests. Leadership teams will also gain access to real-time operational and financial information to support decision-making across both businesses.
