Research and development is where I truly shine. I could dive into R&D all day, every day, and I love the fact-finding process, I really thrive on understanding people and their problems, taking their feedback to elevate our solutions. I also want to inspire my daughter and other girls to break free from self-imposed limitations. I’ve been guilty of it in the past, not now… Now I don’t stop talking. If you have ideas, voice them! All you need is the drive and desire to achieve.

Inspiring the Next Generation
I don’t want to be just another woman in tech, I want to inspire a new generation of girls to consider careers in this field. Tech isn’t just about coding and development; it encompasses design, communication, and imagination. We’re not just a single entity; we’re a community of diverse talents working together. And that’s not to say girls can’t be into coding, one of our best is. Don’t let the word “tech” put you off, we are only limited by our constraints. I was actually super adverse to being referred to as a “woman in tech” because of the talent we have in what you might see as traditional tech, but here I am: a woman in tech. Techy but not technical.
The Power of Imagination and Experience
Every day, I harness my imagination and experience to ask, “What if?” My journey in tech is fueled by a strong work ethic and the belief that approaching problems from different angles can yield incredible solutions. I thrive on engaging with our development team, exploring possibilities, and pushing boundaries. When it comes to scoping projects, I love to roll up my sleeves and collaborate, using whiteboards and pens to sketch out ideas and map our vision. I am a big fan of drawing it out – if it was good enough for the ancient civilisations it’s good enough for me!
Embracing the “What If” Mindset
I see potential everywhere. Instead of settling for the status quo, I question, “What if we could make it even better?” This curiosity drives my passion for innovation and fuels my desire to keep evolving. I feel it in my soul—it’s like my personal church. In this industry, nothing is ever finished; we must continuously learn, adapt, and grow to tackle emerging challenges.
Asking Questions and Finding Solutions
In a data-driven industry, I constantly ask questions to avoid analysis paralysis. My goal is to help our customers see beyond their current limitations and recognise how our technology can address problems they may not even realise exist. That is truly a gift, seeing the realisation that “Oh I didn’t realise there was a better way – we’ve always just done it that way”.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. I work closely with the all the teams to ensure we’re getting our solutions in front of the right people in the right way. With My Elite, we’ve created a buzz, and I believe that by working together, we can continue to amplify our impact. I want everyone to know that technology isn’t just for developers—it’s for anyone willing to engage, listen, and learn.

I firmly believe that the most unexpected ideas can lead to groundbreaking innovations. With EliteAI, we recently asked the whole business, what next? We assess every suggestion and ask ourselves: can we use code to achieve this? Does it solve a problem? This collaborative spirit fosters an environment where we’re all committed to continuous improvement.

While I’m proud of all our projects, My Elite holds a special place in my heart. It’s new, exciting, and has pushed boundaries in ways we never imagined. Seeing the positive feedback is incredibly rewarding, and it reaffirms my belief in our mission.
My Vision for the Future
As I look to the future, my hope is to contribute to the ongoing evolution of Elite, making it even better than it already is. I refuse to accept limitations and will continue to chase the art of what is possible, which is a phrase used by our CEO and it has fast become a staple within the team. I am super grateful that Elite took a chance on little old me, giving me the opportunity to do what I do, pushing my own boundaries and ripping the roof off! Let’s keep breaking those ceilings together.
